Vacuum glass is a new type of processed glass, which is developed based on the principle of thermos flask. The structure of vacuum glass is similar to that of insulating glass except that the gas in the vacuum glass cavity is very thin and almost a vacuum.
Vacuum glass is that two pieces of flat glass is sealed up all around, vacuuming the gap and sealing the vent, the gap between the two pieces of glass is 0.1-0.2 mm. Generally at least one piece of the vacuum glass is low radiation glass, which minimizes the heat loss through the conduction, convection, and radiation of the vacuum glass, and its working principle is the same of the principle of heat preservation and heat insulation of glass vacuum flask. 1.Low Carbon Energy Saving: Vacuum glass relies on the special structure of vacuum layer to effectively block the indoor and outdoor heat conduction. The U value of heat transfer coefficient is below 0.6wm-2k-1 and can be as low as 0.3w /(m2·K), which is similar to that of the wall. It can significantly reduce the power consumption of air conditioning and the emission of pollutants and greenhouse gases, and reduce environmental pollution.
2. Heat Insulation: The vacuum glass with appropriate shading coefficient can effectively control the heat gain of the sun and keep the indoor cool in summer. In winter, when the outdoor temperature is -20℃, the inner surface temperature of the vacuum glass is only 3-5℃, lower than the indoor air temperature, which can keep the indoor warm and comfortable.

Sound Insulation and Noise Reduction: With the density of urban population and the increase of means of transportation, noise pollution is becoming more and more serious, which is directly harmful to people. The vacuum layer of vacuum glass can effectively block the transmission of sound, especially for the medium and low frequencies with strong penetration.
4. Stay Away from Condensation: Vacuum glass has super heat insulation performance. In cold winter, even if the outdoor temperature drops to -30℃, the indoor surface temperature of the glass is close to room temperature, which is much higher than condensation temperature.
5. Widely Used: Vacuum glass is in a vacuum state inside, not affected by the ambient air pressure, and suitable for all kinds of altitude areas. At the same time, the application of vacuum glass in various positions of the building can maintain its excellent performance unchanged, including the facade, inclined surface and roof, and there is no problem that the performance will be reduced due to the increase of gas convection when the insulating glass is laid flat.
